Artist's Comments

Same Technique as the Gas Mask - only the powerlines were painted on a black background using a Masking Fluid BEFORE I painted the whole thing in that violent Cad Orange and yellow mish mash - allowed to dry, then peel off the masking to reveal the black again.

thank you, just been busy with my stuff for unisa. Hmmph, no artist, just playing with the mediums. Real fun at the moment... I just wish i could paint real landscapes..... I will get there - one day maybe :)

cos im stuck here in it...... kids waving to me, bosses piling work on my desk, and all the while I just wish i could break free, and run through sandton in a little pink dress, being arty. :angered:

Wow I love the meaning behind this... Theres nothing more mood-wrecking then looking up at a sky and having power lines interupt your image. bye bye natural world... hello concrete jungle.
